After much deliberation, we’ve finally decided on having an informal wedding reception here at home after we are married in St Thomas!!
We will be closing Texadelphia early for our celebration on Saturday night, June 28th at 6pm. This seems to be the perfect location as it's where we met. =) It is complete with plenty of seating, separate bathrooms, facilities for washing dishes, A/C in the June heat, TV’s to display our wedding pictures, and a somewhat central location, plus it’s free. We were thinking we could do a simple BBQ and we have arranged for all beverages (sodas, tea, beer and mixed drinks). This leaves little left to do … a few decorations and a music playlist ala Heath. Several of you have indicated that you want to take part or help in this event such as Jeremy graciously offering to BBQ for the event before knowing how many people were involved. We welcome any help and/or suggestions.
What we (Heath & Shaunna) cannot agree on is form of invitation. Shaunna wants to mail out invitations, Heath wants to send an evite so we can see a real time head count with comments. What’s your vote?
We are truly grateful to have so many people in our lives that love and support us!

Do both. . inlude on the invitation the evite info and have people RSVP through that :)
Happy Wedding!
I think mailing out may be fun, but unnecessary--save the time, effort, and trees (not to mention stamps' cost) and just evite. If there are a precious few (family I know sometimes are not so hip to computer times), then make a handful of written invites and there you have something for the scrapbook! Can't wait to celebrate with/for you two!
I think Evite is an acceptable form of invitations for parties these days!! I agree- if there are a few people that aren't email/computer savvy that you feel would WANT an invitation, then makes those. Otherwise, spare your self one added stress! It sounds like fun!! There are ALLL sorts of fun theme ideas there regarding coming full circle to where you two met.. where it all began!!
My first thought was also to do both, there are some people that don't check email much or never respond to evites. But the idea of saving trees is very appealing...
