FOOTLOOSE!!

Paige's musical debut was a huge success!! She is just beaming as she dances her way through this show. So fun to see the 80s attire and hear that music we love. Those kids did an amazing job of singing, dancing and acting their way through their first musical ..EVER .. at this brand new school.

Of course, I'm super proud of my baby girl .. she was the best dancer on that stage and her dress was THE best 80s prom dress ;) She's definitely found her calling ... Broadway, get ready!

Two of Paige's biggest fans .. next to me, of course ... are Amy and Courtney. They have both made it to nearly every performance this child of mine has had. That's saying alot! Somehow, this scrapper mom forgot her camera (seriously?!?) Amy and Courtney both had theirs and tried to snap some pics - in the dark, without flash, and with lost of kids DANCING all around on stage! They managed to get a few good ones and Amy updated her blog in about 2 seconds after seeing the show.. Check it out!

After a long week of rehearsals and three very late nights of performances, I was SOO excited to have my child home again. At one point, I was quite certain that she was actually living at school. We went an entire week rushing her off to school early each morning and without having her home for dinner. Once she was finally home, at about midnight on Saturday, I snapped a picture of her with all her celebratory flowers and posted it on facebook with the caption: She's home!! Time to stop and smell the roses ;)
