Here's a shocker: These girls of mine are not quite ready to get back to school!
Then again, what kid is? We had so much going on this summer, that they didn't have as much time to be with friends as they would have liked .. thus the End Of Summer / Back To School Slumber Party. Somehow, they managed to convince me it would be a good idea if they EACH invited four friends to spend the night. The only thing I can't manage to remember is at what moment did I actually agree to this insanity?
As of last night, one of Nicole's friends couldn't make it, one was going to be pretty late and then one of Paige's friends came to hang out, but did not stay the night. Let me just do the math for you .. We started the night with 9 and then were left with 8 girls who were supposed to be sleeping in my house last night. Supposed to be were the key words!! They did very little sleeping are tired little monkeys today ;)

The "what should we do" conversation on the lake back in June resulted in the following list of activities. And this is how we filled our very long night:
Bobbing for Apples

Soda Sipping Contest
Fashion Show Make Overs
Judges:
Ice Cream Sundeas
Believe it or not, I did survive the night with 8 girls!
Heath, though .. you all might want to call and check on him. You know, to get a sense for whether or not he's about to run screaming for the hills!! j/k He did great ... he popped in every now and again with his MOO sound and funny commentary. It was really just to come get a refill on pizza or grab another beer. The rest of the time, he hid out in the bedroom watching tv and avoiding the chaos. I mean, really .... if this man can handle me and 9 teenage girls in this little tiny house after an afternoon of Jury Duty, he's a keeper!
.. But we already knew that ;)

So much fun! And yes, at our slumber parties we did the movie thing. LOL Looks like you had a blast.
OK - first of all...it is not normal how creative you are - just let me get that out there...second of all - I LOVE your new pic on the page from the wedding...third of all - Heath cracks me up!!
Looks like another night of fun at the Chapman's house! :)
DAMN!!! I mean wowzer. That is nuts. I am so impressed you had so many tweenies at your house. But also glad to see the good, wholesome activities (ie not toilet papering houses like we were!)
