Jamie and Ashley are engaged!!

Jamie concocted this great story about how he filled out a survey at Target about organic veggies and he won a free dinner at either Jeffrey’s or Uchi and it was complete with a limo to take them to and from dinner. This worked perfectly b/c Ashley didn’t have a clue what the evening was really about! While they were at dinner, their neighbors, Chad & Stephanie went to set things up for Jamie. When Ashley walked in, she noticed the flowers, champagne and a very large photo of their jeweler holding her ring. Her response? “Someone’s been in here!” Her confusion quickly turned into excitement and sheer surprise when Jamie tells her to turn around. As she turned, she saw Jamie down on one knee in the doorway (where she had stopped frozen in her tracks) saying “will you marry me?”.

She of course said yes! And then she says the waterworks began. To make the night even better, Jamie had already gathered a group of her friends and told them to meet at the Mean Eyed Cat for drinks. It was Ashley’s surprise engagement party!

We all know they have been talking about getting married and she kept saying she just wanted to be surprised. Great job, Jamie!!! She was surprised, caught off guard and her breath was taken away when she saw that ring and her man down on one knee ;)
