Jamie & Ashley's Wedding

As most of you know (especially if you're a facebooker), Heath and I spent the weekend in Mexico for Jamie and Ashley's wedding. With many changes to our Viva Aerobus flights, what was supposed to be a Thursday morning to Monday afternoon flight turned out to be a Thursday evening flight to Cancun and a Sunday morning flight home. Short trip, but a nice long weekend in Playa del Carmen. The direct flight there and back were definitely the way to go!

Heath and I did lots of reading and relaxing by the pool, beach and on our balcony. It was very nice to get away and have some solo time together in the midst of the craziness that we call life here at home. This wedding forced us to take pause and just enjoy some beautiful weather with each other and friends. Here are a few pics from our weekend:

Today, we closed on our house (yippee!!) and moved our first small truck load of things over to the new house. Our movers come Saturday morning, so we have some more packing to do between now and then. So, we're back from our trip to paradise and now we're busy little bees again!!
