July was another busy month .. lots of working and we squeezed in some fun. Here are the highlights ...
4th of July - We borrowed Bill & PD's pool for a little while, grilled out and swam with the Treeces. On our way home from Georgetown, we pulled over on the side of the I-35 with the other pickups to watch the fireworks. Poor Luke had fallen asleep after about 5 minutes in the car and then woke up just in time to watch the sparkles in the sky.
White trash party - Our friend, Julie, that keeps Luke had a party to celebrate the 4th. It was a blast ... complete with beer cans and bras hanging from the trees, car hoods open in the front yard. Super fun!
Kalie's bday - my sweet niece turned 10 this year! So hard to believe. We invited ourselves over to have some cake and open presents. It was a short but good visit on a Monday evening.
Grandpa w/ his grandkids
We get to borrow the girls for one weekend during the month of July with their dad. I planned a fun day with Kalie to celebrate her birthday. We met up for lunch at Macaroni Grill, made our way up to my salon for Luke's first haircut, went to Hey Cupcake from some yummy mid afternoon snacks, then to the mall for some good ole shopping before making our way to Cafe Monet to paint pottery! whew ... what full, fun day with 4 kiddos :)
First Haircut - Luke got his first haircut from Ronny, who cuts my hair at Salon Aqua Blue. He did so great! He sat up in the chair and entertained himself with a business card (Yummy!) while he got a few locks trimmed. He left that salon the trendiest baby in town.

Birthday Jungle Java Fun - Luke and I went to play with Leighton, Hank and Natalie at Jungle Java on his birthday. I had taken the day off work, so we played with our friends and had lunch out. :)
